Panama

"Beyond trips" capture the excitement and learning that happens when students step out of the classroom and into real-world environments. These international class trips showcase students engaging with their surroundings and seeing their professors in action beyond the traditional academic setting.

Main Objective: While the main objective of this photography assignment was documenting the immersive learning experiences students have in real-world environments during "Beyond trips" - we had a free day and I chose to spend the day at a local market to explore and find photos that would add visual and emotional depth to the promotional photos of the students.

This Beyond Trip was in Panama.

Southeast Asia

While living in Thailand, working for a non-profit, I was sent on coverage assignments to collect both story coverage assets and stock photography assets. The story coverage assets were published with stories of the workers from the non-profit. The stock photo assets are used in audience/donor facing promotional materials. These stock photos trips were purposed to collect images that reflected the people and cultures of the nations that the non-profit served. It was necessary for me to coordinate with both non-profit workers and local contacts to plan and organize these photo coverages. Below are some highlights from a few of these trips.
