Convention Booth Design
Experiential Design of Convention Booth and Accompany Side Events
Conceptually transformed and artistically redesigned the school's convention booth with an emphasis on experiential design, making it both visually striking and inviting while positioning the school as a top choice in an urban educational context at an annual convention with 10,000-25,000 attendees.
2023 Update
Adjusted layout, to accommodate a smaller staff presence and new additional graphics for this year’s institutional goal emphasis - the Beyond Trips. "Beyond trips" capture the excitement and learning that happens when students step out of the classroom and into real-world environments. These international class trips showcase students engaging with their surroundings and seeing their professors in action beyond the traditional academic setting.
To promote Beyond Trips, the new scholarship allowing all students to go on a Beyond Trip fully funded, and the hands-on educational model of Gateway Seminary, I designed an art exhibit within our booth. The art exhibit featured artwork collected by Gateway Seminary faculty, staff and students on international trips related to their area of study.
2022 Update
For a second year, reimagined the layout of the booth to incorporate much more storage for giveaways, a more inviting open concept layout, a dedicated podcast studio area for our planned live recordings and new additional graphics to promote institutional goals.
2021 Update
2020/2021 - fully reimagined graphics for the entire booth, reskinned all portions of booth to incorporate new branding graphics, created a whole new layout with the existing booth structure by reimagining how the booth could be reassembled, including new furniture, new footprint, and creating new, more effective gathering spaces
(2020 convention was canceled but the designs were incorporated and built upon in 2021)
Booth Redesign
Old booth that was used in the years prior to my hire. Layouts I designed through out the last four years of designing the booth.
